Barbara Aldridge Lee

<p>Mrs. Barbara Aldridge Lee, 79, died Sunday evening (November 27, 2022) at her residence following an extended illness.</p><p><br></p><p>She was a native of Hoboken and lived most of her life in Waycross. She was a homemaker and a very active volunteer with the American Red Cross Blood Drive. She was a member of William Chapel Baptist Church but attended Pleasant Valley Baptist Church most of her life.</p><p><br></p><p>She was the daughter of the late Tom Aldridge and Flora Altman Smith. She was also preceded in death by a son in law, Jimmy Dixon; three brothers, A.C. Griffin, Glynn Griffin, and Stanley Aldridge; and her parents in law, Frank and Martha Lee.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her husband, Billy J. Lee of Waycross, GA; four children, Richard Lee (Christina) of Waycross, GA, Gary Lee of Waycross, GA, Teresa Dixon of Waycross, GA, and Kevin Lee (Brandie) of Blackshear, GA; ten grandchildren, Brianna Hicks, Cameron Dixon (Melissa), Courtney Revels (Walter), Alaina Lee, Storm Dixon, Walker Lee, Amber, Tristan, Emma, and Jaxon Lee; three great grandchildren, Matthew, Asher, and Tucker Dixon; two sisters, Blanche Aldridge (Elmer) and Connie Wilson (Donnie); and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.</p><p><br></p><p>A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday in the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in High Bluff Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home and beginning at 1:00 PM Thursday.</p><p><br></p><p>Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.musicfuneralhome.com.</p><p><br></p><p>Music Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.</p><p><br></p>
