Joseph Thomas Breen was born October 28, 1933 in Detroit and entered into rest November 23, 2022 in Troy at the age of 89 at his home surrounded by his family.

Joseph is survived by the love of his life, Ann (Kuebler), whom he married in 1961. Dear father of Karen Breen, Suzanne Breen, Shawn (John) Ursu and Erika (Robert) Ash. Loving grandfather of Kyle (Jessica), Ian and Molly Breen-Bondie; Mädchen Breen; Eva and Cristian Ursu; Robert, Bennett and Violet Ash and three great-grandchildren. Joseph is proceeded in death by his parents, Daniel and Mary Alma (Donahue) Breen and sister Patricia (Breen) Radke.

Joseph was an Army Veteran and hardware salesman by trade. He loved to make everyone laugh and never missed an opportunity to tell a joke. He was an avid bowler, golfer, baseball player and Detroit Tiger fan. He loved to listen to curling on the radio and was a classic car enthusiast and weekend car mechanic. He enjoyed fishing with his son-in-law and best friend, Greg Bondie, in the U.P. Jazz music and old Hollywood movies were also a passion. He enjoyed socializing with his St. Ambrose Catholic High School friends.
