DARTMOUTH-Evelyn E. (Silva) Esperanca, 93 of Dartmouth, died Thursday November 24, 2022 at home surrounded by her family, following a period of declining health.  She was born in New Bedford, moving to Dartmouth in the mid 50's.  She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Anna (Lopes) Silva and the widow of Anthony S. Esperanca.  In Evelyn's youth, she enjoyed horseback riding with her sister as well as bike riding.

Survivors include her son: Michael A. Esperanca and his wife Debra of Dartmouth; daughter: Susan Hamilton of Leicester, North Carolina; 2 grandchildren: Anne Esperanca and Brianna Hamilton; nephew: Steven Silva.  She was the sister of the Barbara Silva.

Her funeral service was private and entrusted to AUBERTINE-LOPES FUNERAL HOME, 129 Allen Street.
