Mr. Jackson Clifford “Jack” Howard, 86 passed away Thursday (November 24, 2022) at his residence in Waycross following an extended illness.

He was born in Pierce County to the late Zadok Howard and Clifford Walker Howard. He was a plumber most of his life and worked with Larisey Plumbing in Waycross for many years.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Lizzie Mae Crews Howard; three sons, Mike Davis, Freddy Davis, and Ronny Davis. Jack was the last of 10 siblings.

He is survived by a son, Kenny Davis (Charline) of Blackshear; a grandson, Chris Davis (Mysti) of Waycross and six other grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday (November 28, 2022) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Laura Chapel Cemetery in Pierce County. The family will begin receiving friends at the funeral home on Monday at 10 o’clock.

The family would like to thank GHC Hospice of Waycross for all their loving care and dedication over the last several years. They ask that Jack’s nurses and CNA meet at the funeral home on Monday by 10:40 a.m. to serve as honorary pallbearers.
