<p>Joy Lee Smith, age 87, of Rutledge, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Charles Smith. She is survived by her best friends, Tony and Peggy Grooms; god-son, Craig Barnes; and caregiver, Rachel Mullins. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday, November 27th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Monday, November 28th at Jarnagin Cemetery for graveside services with Rev. Tim Jones officiating.
