JoAnn J. Bradshaw
<p>Visitation for JoAnn Bradshaw, 86, of Pryor, will be held on Sunday, November 27 from 2-4 PM at Stephens-Key Chapel in Pryor. No other services are planned. Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Stephens-Key Funeral and Cremation Care in Pryor.</p><p>JoAnn was an only child, born on September 30, 1936 in Lucien, Oklahoma to John and Jenny (Feken) Skala. She grew up and attended school in Perry, Oklahoma, graduating from Perry High School in 1954. She married Virgil Lee Bradshaw Sr. on October 13, 1956 and from their marriage came three sons, Virgil Jr., Scott and John. They lived in Perry then, in 1969, moved to Pryor where they have remained. </p><p>JoAnn started working for the Pryor Public School System, as a cook, in 1974. She worked at Lincoln Elementary for 3 years, then at Washington Elementary where she worked 20 years, retiring in 1996.</p><p>In her free time, she loved to go fishing and sew. She was an excellent cook and loved cooking meals and baking pies for her family; she was known for her lemon meringue pies and her deviled eggs. She also enjoyed playing card games and dominos. She was quiet and reserved but also strong-willed and she did not like being the center of attention. She was of the Lutheran faith. </p><p>She loved her family very much and she will be missed by all those who shared in her life.</p><p>She is survived by her husband, Virgil, of the home; three sons, Virgil Bradshaw Jr and wife Robin of Adair, Scott Bradshaw and wife Johna of Pryor and John Bradshaw and wife Deborah of Navarre, Florida; 9 grandchildren, Trey, Ryan, Jacob, Danielle, Jenna, Megan, Alexander, Maxwell and Grace and 7 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents.</p><p><br></p>September 30, 1936 - November 23, 202209/30/193611/23/2022

I remember JoAnn and Virgil when I served as pastor of the First Church of God in Pryor. They and their boys were faithful in attendance. God bless her memory. We'll be praying for the family.
