Michael Grover Prather

<p>Michael Grover Prather, age 68 of Waco, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. He was born in Birmingham, AL,&nbsp;&nbsp;on April 4, 1954, to the late Grover Willie Prather and &nbsp;Willie Allen Prather. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother Steve Prather.&nbsp; An avid outdoorsman, Michael loved to hunt, fish, and camp.&nbsp; He also enjoyed listening to classic rock music, especially the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.&nbsp; Michael was a hard worker and loved his family.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>Survivors include&nbsp;his wife, Elaine Hester Prather of Waco;&nbsp; a daughter, Natasha Hardy and Thomas Wilkerson of Mt. Zion; a son, Cody and Tiffany Prather of Dallas; his mother, Willie Prather; step children, Christina and Bruce Mathis of Waco and Shaun Cintron and Rachel Cato of Ashland, Alabama; sisters, Teresa and&nbsp; Bob Hooper of Rome, Angie and Billy Cook of Anderson, SC, and Gina and Dennis Wluff of Hiram; and a brother, Norman and Dorothy Prather of Clanton, Alabama.&nbsp; Also surviving are his grandchildren, Kiley Samson, Dawson Wilkerson, Destiny Wilkerson, Shaylee Prather, Carolynn Mathis, Levi Mathis, DJ Mathis and Corey Mathis; two great grandchildren; special niece, Angel McCain of Silver Creek and other relatives and friends.&nbsp; </p><p>In keeping with Michael's wishes he will be cremated.&nbsp; </p><p>Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel &amp; Crematory of Buchanan.&nbsp; </p>
