John Arthur “Boneman” Hulett

<p>John Arthur Hulett, one of 7 children, was born in Lowndes County, situated in the “black-belt” of Alabama, on June 8, 1952, to the parentage of Calvin Hulett and Cora Lee Bell.</p><p><br></p><p>His early years of education included Lowndes County, Alabama and, after relocation to South Florida, he graduated from Fort Pierce Central High School in 1972. John, was an avid basketball player, and he also played pool.</p><p><br></p><p>John was an employee, for many years, of Pantry Pride, also known by its predecessor name Food Fair, a large supermarket chain. Later in his life, he acquired skill in the construction industry, where he worked along side his father in law, Charles Lynn, Sr.</p><p><br></p><p>John was married to his soulmate, Joann Lynn Hulett; a loving and devoted wife for 45 years. John was affectionately known by his family and friends as “Boneman”. He will be remembered as a compassionate, caring, and dedicated man. A loving Father and Grandfather; who absolutely relished in quality time with his grandkids.</p><p><br></p><p>On Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2022, he peacefully transitioned from this life, at Cleveland Clinic South Hospital, in Stuart, Florida. He is, now, resting from his labor in the presence of The Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Hulett and Cora Lee Bell; brother, Calvin (Crow) Hulett; and sister, Editha Hulett.</p><p><br></p><p>Surviving to forever to cherish his precious memories are: his wife, Joann Lynn Hulett; a special daughter, LaTonya Williams (Alonzo) of Stuart, Fl.; 2 loving sons, Terrance Hulett (Anna) of Port Salerno, Fl., and John Hulett, Jr. (Carmeta) of Fort Pierce, Fl.; 3 brothers, Robert Arthur Hulett (Wainita), Willie Hulett (Shirley), and Kelvin Bull Hulett; 3 sisters, Mariah Bell, Mamie Hulett Lasane, and Barbara Dotson; a brother in law, Van Lynn; a uncle, Peter Bell; 11 Grandchildren; 1 Great-Granddaughter; 3 Godchildren, Lil Rick Graham, Henry Thompson, and Miranda Plummer; a special friend, Walter Thomas (Rosa); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, who will truly miss him.</p>
