Obituary

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our Husband, Father & Grandfather, Clayton Hack.  Clayton was born on July 6, 1937 in Killaly, Saskatchewan and died in Kelowna, British Columbia on November 17, 2022 from complications following a seemingly routine surgery.

A loving husband and best friend of 64 years to Helene, a dad to Jeff (Laurie), Rob (Vilena) and Karen (Tom) Roemer, and grandfather to Tynan, Brendan, Jamie, Dayne and Saje, Clayton will be lovingly and forever remembered.

Clayton was born and raised on the farm where he learned his work ethic.  After moving to Regina for school and ensuing career, Clayton worked in Traffic Safety with the Saskatchewan Provincial Government.  An early retirement package led Clayton to his own business – Advanced Driver Training, a company he designed from the ground up.  The move to Kelowna in 1995 marked Clayton’s official retirement from work.  He enjoyed travelling with the love of his life, Helene, serving as usher and singing in the choir at church, and playing the golf courses throughout the Okanagan, particularly Michaelbrook where he was a long-time member.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Clayton’s honour at Grace Lutheran Church on January 9, 2023 at 1:00 PM.  The church is located at 1162 Hudson Road, West Kelowna, BC, V1Z 1J3.
