Ledia Patten

<p>Ledia Patten, of Liberty, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was 59. </p><p>Born on January 4, 1963, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Carroll Rodgers and Joyce Marie Eads. She was formerly a seamstress. She was baptized at and attended The Hill Church. Ledia enjoyed junking at thrift stores. Her grandchildren were her world. </p><p>She is survived by her husband, Dallas Patten, who she wed on July 28, 1979; a daughter, Nikki Smithers of Liberty; a son, Nathon Patten of Liberty; four grandchildren, Dakota (Hannah) Smithers, McKenzie (Chad) Horton, Briley Smithers, and Shelby Smithers; and four great-grandchildren, Oakley, Raquel, Karson, and Karlie. </p><p>Other survivors include three brothers, Jimmy (Vanessa) Shreve of Campbellsville, Gary Rodgers of Dunnville, and Mitchell Eads of Liberty; and three sisters, Brenda Williamson of Liberty, Kay Lee of Dunnville, and Shannon Rodgers of Casey County. </p><p>In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Marcus Shreve and Michael Shreve; and two sisters, Kathy Hearon and Cleta Marie Rodgers. </p><p>The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Reggie Tipton officiating. Burial will follow in Whited Cemetery. </p><p>The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. </p><p>Pallbearers will be Mitchell Eads, Chad Horton, Dallas Patten, Briley Smithers, Cody Williamson, and Mike Brown. </p><p>Arrangements are entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
