LAPADAT

Paul Stephen (Steve) Lapadat with family at his side passed away peacefully on October 22, 2022 in St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital.

Steve was born December 22, 1954.

Predeceased by his father Victor Lapadat, 2005 and brother Sam Lapadat, 2021. Steve is survived by his beloved mother Grace Lapadat, brother Victor Lapadat Jr. (Sandy) along with nieces and nephews.

Steve lived a quiet life working on the farm in Eagle with his parents and brothers, along with off farm when working at the service center on the 401. He loved NASCAR and would spend weekends watching races with Sam. In his younger days he would put together models and all through his life would sketch, with a talent that allowed him to put pencil or pen to paper with exacting detail. As well he would read and talk to you in detail on historical and current subjects and events wherever the conversation lead.

We find solace in knowing that he is now united with his father and brother.

Steve did not want a funeral and so in following with his wishes please take a moment in thinking of him and others that you loved and are now gone.

Cremation has taken place.

Interment will be private and at a later date.
