<p>WHITEVILLE—Carol Ernestine Smith Spaulding, 87, of 409 West Burkhead Street, Whiteville, died Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at her residence. </p><p>The funeral will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 30, at Peoples Funeral Chapel by Dr. Staccato Powell. Burial will be in the Hallsboro Memorial Park. </p><p>Viewing will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and Wednesday one hour prior to the service. </p><p>Surviving are her daughters, Carole Evadne Mangum of Fayetteville, NC, Reneé Robinson of the home, Jai Robinson of Whiteville, and Tonya Robinson Ali of Richmond, VA; foster son, Antonio Lamont Wright of Laurinburg, NC; sisters, Joan Lyons and Henrietta Graham of Fairmont, NC. </p><p>The family graciously requests that no home visits be made at this time. </p><p>A service of Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville </p><p> </p>Obituary
