<p>BONNIE LOUISE CUMMINGS</p><p>85, of Mayville, died peacefully Wednesday morning, November 23, 2022 in her home, with her family at her side. She was born February 28, 1937 in Ogemaw County to Alton and Delilah (Warner) Caverly. She married the love of her life, Charles Ervin Cummings on November 14, 1953 in Kingston. He died February 28, 2014.</p><p><br></p><p>Bonnie was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She kept busy canning, crocheting, feeding and watching hummingbirds in her yard. She always took one grandchild with her when she traveled to Mackinaw Island. Bonnie also enjoyed cooking and baking. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. </p><p><br></p><p>Bonnie is survived by her sons: Charles (Chris) Cummings of Deford, Gary (Julia) Cummings of Sturgis, Darren (Nancy) Cummings of Mayville; fourteen grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren; brothers: Calvin “Cap” (Kay) Caverly of Kingston; Raymond (Carol) Caverly of Gagetown; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband; grandson, Dustin Cummings, great-granddaughters: Hannah Hunter and Cheyenne Irvine; daughter-in-law, Cindy Cummings; sisters: Laurel Miller, Linda Harris, Dorothy Gilmore; brother, Jay Caverly.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral service held 12:00 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2022 in Kranz Funeral Home, Kingston with her son, Pastor Gary Cummings officiating. Interment in Kingston Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mrs. Cummings are Keaton Cummings, Cody Cummings, Tyler Clawson, Walter Gentry, Ethan Cumper, Jared Sarles.
