Mark Deaton, age 63, of Newport, Kentucky, died November 20, 2022, at the home of his daughter in Wilmington, Ohio, with family by his side.  He was born June 2, 1959, in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, the son of the late Charles and Irene (Cottingham) Deaton.   Mark had worked 30 years for ABX where he was a crew leader; he had also owned and operated PIC’s café in Newport, Kentucky.  He was an outdoorsman, he loved to hunt deer, turkey, and alligator.  Mark is survived by his fiancée, Janet Green; daughter Arica Green; son Adam Green; grandchildren, Jaiden (Branson), Dru, Anaiya, Breslin, Arianna, and Ayden, great grandchildren, Braiya, Brynna, and Jaxon; siblings, Beth (Kenny) Mitchell, Peggy (Rob) Shultz, Karen (Kent) Griffis, Mary Ann Curtis, Lynn Deaton, Jim (Tammy) Deaton; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Bobby, Doug, Ronnie, Pete, and many more.  In addition to his parents, Mark is preceded in death by a brother Chuck; and great nephew Chase.   Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2022, St. Therese Catholic Church in Southgate, Kentucky.    Burial in St. Stephen Cemetery.  Memorial contributions should be directed to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
