<p>&nbsp;Wendy Sue Kennedy, 72, passed away Monday, November 22, 2022, at Northern Rockies Medical Center, in Cut Bank.&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp;Wendy was born May 1, 1950, in Shelby, to the late Woodrow and Ruth (Anderson) Carrico.&nbsp; She graduated from Montana State University – Northern in 1972, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Education degree.&nbsp; She met her husband, James “Jim”, while attending college in Havre, and they were married on June 3, 1972. They were married for 50 years. </p><p>&nbsp;Wendy worked as an elementary school teacher for the Shelby and Browning Public School Systems.&nbsp; She earned a master’s degree in education from Montana State University – Bozeman.&nbsp; She was intelligent, dedicated, passionate, caring, and hard-working.&nbsp; Wendy was part of a team of educators that introduced new methods to help the kids she taught.&nbsp; She educated multiple generations, including grandparents, parents, and children until her retirement.&nbsp; Even after retirement she continued decorating the showcases for the children at K.W. Began Elementary School. She was a teacher and most of all she was a beautiful soul with a huge heart. </p><p>&nbsp;She was very loved by others for her kindness, laughter, and fun energy.&nbsp; She liked life and took joy in small things.&nbsp; She loved her entire family and enjoyed attending gatherings to catch up with everyone. </p><p>&nbsp; She is survived by her husband, Jim, of Browning; daughters, Jamie Kennedy of Billings, Jena Kennedy of Great Falls, and Jordan (Skyler) Rydberg of Billerica, MA; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. </p><p>&nbsp;Wendy’s family is planning a memorial celebration at the Kennedy Family Ranch at a later date in Spring 2023.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>Donations can be made in Wendy's name to Logan Health Cut Bank. </p>
