Richard T. Mulholland, age 68, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at his home.

He was born on June 3, 1954, in Lima, Ohio and was the son to the late Anthony and Virginia (Rickert) Mulholland.

Richard loved Ohio sports and was a lifelong fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and, the Cleveland Guardians (Go Tribe!)

Richard will be missed tremendously by his family who loved him dearly, and whom he loved "with all of his heart". He was the favorite uncle to all of his nieces and nephews and a respected businessman throughout Mt. Vernon during his many years as a car salesman for Ron Aaron Ford Lincoln Mercury, John Decosky GM, and Dick Sabo Ford. Richard was a member of the Moose Lodge for many years and could be found on Hiawatha Golf Course on a sunny day. He always enjoyed an intense game of Euchre with his family or friends and received great joy from saving quarters for his grandchildren to play 31 on holidays. His colorful stories and (sometimes inappropriate) jokes will keep his memory alive for all who knew him and loved him. Heaven is full of laughter now that he's joined the party.

He is survived by his son, Benjamin (Erica) Mulholland; daughter, Jennifer (Will) Murray; five grandchildren, Hayden, Tara, Kayley, Peyton, and Rylee; a brother, Greg (Debbie) Mulholland; sisters, Tonia (Mick) Gallagher, Ellen Smith, and Jill Graves; along with the mother of his children and dear friend, Jackie Mulholland.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Rd. in Mount Vernon. Where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM.
