Mr. Thomas Patrick Moore was born August 6, 1953, in Toledo, Ohio, to Ester Moore and Dessie Mae Moore. He made his transition from this life on March 18, 2022, in the presence of his family.

Thomas accepted Christ at an early age. He was a long time resident of Toledo, and he graduated from Scott High School where they say....."Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog." He also attended Whit College. He loved sports; he played football in high school and college. He also loved watching sports: Oakland (Las Vegas) Raiders and his Boston Celtics (Robert Parish and Larry Bird).

Thomas worked for the City of Toledo as a Garbage Man for many years until he retired. He loved his job.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ester Moore and his paternal grandparents; maternal grandmother, Alma Peterson; and maternal grandfather.

Thomas is survived by his only son, Donnell Johnson; his mother, Dessie Mae Moore; step-father, Isiah Moore, who has been a big part of his life; step-sisters, Delores Moore and Early Mixon, of Toledo, Ohio; aunt, Patricia Ann Carroll, of Columbus, Ohio; uncles, Charles Peterson, Jennis L. Peterson, and Shepard L. Peterson, all of New York; cousins, Darnell Redman, of Toledo, Norman Peterson and James Peterson, both of Columbus, Ohio; special cousins, Debbie Sherman, of Dayton, and Karen Sherman, of Toledo; special friends, Mike Watson, Larry Gilmore. Freddie Douglas, Tyrone Brown; and bonus children, Coresa Harris, Corey Harris, and Cornell Harris.
