Ashley Darrington

Ashley Nicole Darrington, 24, was sadly taken from us on Monday, February 14, 2022, in Toledo. Ohio.

Ashley came into this world on Friday, October 31, 1997, in Toledo, Ohio born to Mertes Darrington. She was the youngest of her siblings and made sure people knew it. Ashley graduated from St. Ursula Academy and went on to attend The University of Toledo with aspirations of becoming a pharmacist. Eventually, her interests changed, and she left the university and became an STNA. Ashley worked for several facilities with the most recent being Walgreens, Ohio Center for Developmental Disabilities, and the Toledo Hospital.

Ashley gave birth to a beautiful baby girl Angel Amara Sherman on October 3, 2019, and a handsome baby boy Robert Lamar Sherman on August 20, 2020. Ashley was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her babies. There wasn't anything that she wouldn't do for them. Besides being a devoted mother, she also enjoyed music, art, trying new things and spending time with family and friends.

Ashley was loved by so many people and was a good friend, daughter, aunt, niece, sister, cousin, and an excellent mother. She will be missed by many! Ashley was beautiful, bold, smart, and never afraid to speak her mind. She had a heart of gold and was the definition of a warm spirit.

We wish Ashley hadn't been tragically taken away from us so soon, but we know that she is resting in Heaven.

Ashley was preceded in death by her grandparents, James, and Christine Darrington; uncle, Michael Darrington (Tracey). She is survived by her two loving children; Angel Sherman and Robert Sherman Jr.; unconditional loving mother, Mertes Darrington; brother, Bryant Freeman Sr. (Nesha), sister, Erica McGee; uncle, Lawrence Darrington (Lisa) and many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
