Lashonda Renee Grainger, 43 years of age, departed this life on September 3, 2021 at home.

Lashonda was May 23, 1978 in Toledo, Ohio to Charlie and Jeanette Grainger. Lashonda was the youngest of thre children.

Lashonda was baptized at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church under the late Rev. Dr. Henry M. Crenshaw. She was a member of the Junior Choir, then Youth, and young Adult. She was also involved the Church Outreach Center.

Lashonda attended Nathan Hale Elementary. DeVaux Jr. High, and graduated from Scott High School. Lashonda was active in tennis, and she also played the saxophone. Her favorite color was purple and she loved to smile and spend time with her family and friends. She was a loving and caring person. To know her, was to love her.

Lashonda was preceded in death by her mother, Jeannette Grainger; grandparents, L.C. and Celestine Exerage and Joe Frank and Aleyne Grainger.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved Eryka Grainger and Eric Boyd; father, Charlie Grainger; brother, Roy D. (Charia) Grainger; sister, LaTrice Smith; nephew, Terry Watson Jr.; bestfriend, LaShawnda "Monique" Boykin, all of Toledo, and a host of relatives, and kind friends.

Lashonda Renee will be greatly missed by all that know and love her dearly.
