Theola Baker was born August 21, 1963 in Clarksdale, Mississippi to the union of Catherine Baker and Lin Baker II. She was the fifth sibling of nine children.


She was preceded in death by her Parents Lin Baker II and Catherine Temples Baker, two siblings; Belva G. Baker, Lin Baker III, two sons Traveon Baker, William Dailey (stepson)


Theola was a 1982 graduate of Edward Drummond Libbey High School. She was employed at Pro-Pak Company for 10 years until her health started to decline. Them she later became a cosmetologist, specializing in braiding hair. She had many clients from all around Toledo and surrounding area.


Theola had a very close relationship with her family, but it was her mother who stand the closest to her heart.


What made her days was when she was out shopping, working in the yard, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.


Theola had a heart of Gold so when you met her for the very first time you would never forget her. She was always thinking of others while putting them before herself.


At an early age she confessed her life to Christ and she was baptized at Greater St. James Church in Fremont, Ohio, by the late Bishop William James.


Theola leaves to cherish her memory; beloved companion William Dailey who she loved dearly with her last breathe, daughters; Sade Baker, Shavonna Baker Daesheonna Baker, Tazanisha Baker, McWilliams (her niece), step children; Sharnita Harris, Tiara Jackson, Teela Jackson and Ryun Douglas Reed, grandchildren; De'Azhia Taylor, Dion Jackson, Diondre Jackson, Dillion Jackson and Hallie Mitchell, her sisters; Patricia Baker Wright (Armond), Linda Baker Fox (Williaam), grand children; and a host of sister-in-laws, nieces, nephew, cousins and friends, one uncle; Joe Kidd of Fremont, Ohio, and one auntie; Diane Gaston Chestnut of Chicago, Ill., special friends; Jackie Orr Patricia Lewis (preceded her in death)
