Leslie L Criss

Leslie L. Criss, Jr., age 48 was born October 17, 1972 in Toledo, Ohio. He was the eldest of three sons born to the union of Leslie L. and Nancy L. Criss. He departed this life on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in Columbus, Ohio.

Leslie graduated from E. L. Bowser High School in Toledo, Ohio in June 1991. He continued his education at Bowling Green State University where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree August 1999, Fashion Institute of Technology State University of New York, Associate in Applied Science August 1999.

Leslie worked as a substitute teacher in the Toledo Public School System. He later moved to Atlanta, Georgia for a few years and the finally settling in Columbus, Ohio, where he worked fo Safelite for 10 years prior to working fo J.C. Penny in their Logistics department until his death.

Leslie was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Mrs. Lee Ethel McGree, grandmother Evangelists E.G. Jackson; paternal great grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wright, Mrs. Katie Criss, Paternal grandparents: Elder and Mrs. A.C. Leonard Criss and Elder and Mrs. Vancel Guyton. and aunt Mr. Patricia Johnson.

Leslie leaves to mourn his passing his parents, Leslie and Nancy Criss, Sr., brothers: Craig Criss, Phillip (Alicia) Criss, nephews: Lamar, Nkiru, Keshaun, CeeJay, Bryson, Lloyd, Mason and Jaxson, nieces: Kalonnie, Bria, Qualyn, Amaiya and Kiara and a host of cousins and friends.

A Precious one from us has gone;

A voice we loved is stilled;

A place is vacant in our hearts....

Which never can be filled.

And after a lonely heartache and

Many a silent tear,

There's always a beautiful memory

Of one we love so dear.
