Helen V. Allen born April 4, 1938 in Mound City, IL to the union of John and Elizabeth Kemp, she departed this life to be with her heavenly Father peacefully on December 8, 2016.

Helen worked several jobs but retired from Jeep Corporation.

Helen accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a early age. Upon moving to Toledo, Ohio she united with Indiana Avenue Baptist Church where she worked with many ministries until her health difficulties.

She was preceded in death by parents, 2 brothers and 1 daughter.

She leaves to cherish her memories daughter Marnette Riley, Peoria, IL., brother Harold (Lurline) Kemp of St. Louis, MO, devoted sister Margaret Bannister, special cousin, Fridell Person , 9 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 3 godchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her Indiana Avenue Baptist Church family.
