Service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 1:00pm, proceeded by a wake service starting at 12:00pm. Both taking place at the House of Day Chapel. Effie Marie Warnett was born on September 10, 1955 to William Henry Stenson, Sr. and Betty Mae (Toms) Stenson. Effie departed this earthly life Friday, March 4, 2016. She was preceded in death by both parents and brother Anthony Stenson. Effie united with Word Faith Ministries and was baptized in 2010. Effie was a “1974” Edward Drummond Libbey High School Graduate. Effie was employed 23 years as a CNA with Mariner Health Care (currently Laurels). She loved shopping, traveling, watching cowboy movies, and spending time with her grandchildren who she loved so very, very much. Effie leaves to cherish her memory, loving husband Charles; sons Dion and Nathaniel (RiSheen Hood) Stenson, and Terrale Smith; daughter Tameka Warnett; grand-children, Darius, Reginae, Nathaniel, Jr., Anthony, Micheelyn, Rhinya, Damiyah, Jaelynn, and great grandson Rylin; brothers, William and Bryan (Cheryl) Stenson and sister Hedi Stenson-Wilson (Terry) sister, four (4) brother–in-laws and two (3) sister-in-laws; loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 1:00pm, proceeded by a wake service starting at 12:00pm. Both taking place at the House of Day Chapel.
