Ronald Jacobson, age 84, of Omaha, NE, passed away November 19, 2022.

Ron is survived by daughters Ronda Bourg (Jeff) of Omaha, NE, and Brenda Tacke (Bob) of Council Bluffs, IA; son Barry Spooner of Winter Springs, FL; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister Barb Gillespie(Ron) of Omaha, NE; many nieces and nephews, along with many great friends.

Ron is preceded in death by wife Sharon and parents Norman and Alice Jacobson.

Ron served in the US Navy (1957-1961). He was stationed on an aircraft carrier called the USS Wasp, where he served as an Aviation Machinist mate Third Class (Tower Operator). He received a Good Conduct Medal.

After the Navy, Ron went to work for MUD, where he worked as a field engineer. He retired after 38 years in 1998. He was a wonderful and funny guy who will be missed by everyone who knew him.

The family invites you to join them for a luncheon from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm following the funeral service at the VFW at 8904 Military Rd, Omaha, NE.
