<p>Hector Alexander Calo Fernandez, age 31, of Roanoke, VA, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022. He was born on February 2, 1991, to Francisco Calo Ramon and Reina Natalia Fernandez Ortiz. Hector owned and operated his own construction company.</p><p>In addition to his parents, he is survived by his partner, Jenny Martinez; children, Carlos Jose, James Martinez, and Dyland Fernandez; sisters, Marisol Fernandez, and Aura Fernandez.</p><p>A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held at 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem, VA. Burial will follow at Tres Cruces Concul in his home country of Guatemala.</p><p>Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.</p><p>Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.johnmoakey.com. </p><p><br></p><p>Héctor Alexander Calo Fernández, de 31 años, de Roanoke, VA, falleció el lunes 21 de noviembre de 2022. Nació el 2 de febrero de 1991, hijo de Francisco Calo Ramón y Reina Natalia Fernández Ortiz. Héctor poseía y operaba su propia empresa de construcción.</p><p>Además de sus padres, le sobreviven su pareja, Jenny Martínez; los niños, Carlos José, James Martínez y Dyland Fernández; hermanas, Marisol Fernández y Aura Fernández.</p><p>Un servicio fúnebre para celebrar su vida se llevará a cabo a las 5 p.m. el domingo 18 de diciembre de 2022 en la funeraria John M. Oakey & Son en Salem, VA.
