Terrence Kincade Obituary

Services will be held on Friday, January 9, 2014 at 12:00 pm, wake at 11:00 am at the House of Day. Our beloved son, brother, husband, father and grandfather, Terrence Earl Kincade (known to family and friends as Uncle Buddy and his grand children as Popo) was born November 08, 1950 to William Earl Kincade and Beulah Berry in Toledo, Ohio. The Lord sent his heavenly angels on December 31, 2014 to take him home. Terrence was married for forty five (45) years to Norma Simms Kincade. They raised three children, two boys (Anthony and Terrell), and one girl (Latisha). Terry was a loving husband and father who cared deeply for his family and friends. He was well liked by neighbors, coworkers and others. He was always known for offering a kind word to others whenever it was needed. Terry was actively involved in ensuring the family spent quality time together including taking family vacations, playing tennis and basketball, and having parties with family and friends. He loved his cognac. He was big brother to nine siblings and took that role very seriously looking out for their welfare as long as he could. Terrence worked at E. I. DuPont for 36 years as a D.O.T. Hazardous Material Site Coordinator and Reactor Operator. He traveled a great deal and loved his work. He retired from DuPont in 2008. 2013 proved to be a very special year for Terry as he welcomed his first great granddaughter, Kennedi to this world, who he loved tremendously and nicknamed her Sassi Mae. His hobbies included, watching sports, swimming, playing horse shoes, basket ball and golfing. His biggest past time was playing pool,being on his computer and ipad. Terry leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Beulah Berry; wife, Norma Simms Kincade; sons, Anthony Kincade and Terrell Kincade; daughter, Latisha Kincade; grandchildren , Kiana Kincade, Abrianna Kincade, Terrell J. Kincade and Rickey Kincade Ruiz; great granddaughter, Kennedi Kincade. Siblings; brothers, Keith Berry, Reggie Berry, and Rickey Berry; sisters, Aretta Johnson, Karen Kincade, Diane Kincade, and Rita Berry; and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, William Earl Kincade, sister Roxanne Ballard and brother William (Pippy) Kincade who will be in our hearts forever. Terry will truly be missed.
