Services are 9:00am Saturday, January 3, 2015 preceded by wake services at 8:30am at New Light Baptist Church R.C. Scott, Jr., "Pete" 81, passed away on December 21, 2014. Born November 28, 1933 to R.C. Scott Sr., and S.C. Scott. Pete was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, J. Lee, W. D., and Eddie Lee. Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Eugenia; his children, Regina Polk (William), Darryl Scott, and Ronald Scott (Mignon); stepchildren, Lisa and Stephen Johnson; brother, Albert Scott (Sandra); sisters, Ruby Sallie, Jean Hood (Al), Jurdean Barringer (Arbry), and Atherine Gabriel; sisters-in-law Marilyn Scott, Rachel Scott, and Artheldia Scott; his first wife, Etta Jean Carlson; nine grandchildren and 18 grandchildren.
