<p>Samuel Earl Floyd, was born February 10, 1955, in Chicago, IL, to Samuel and Marcella Brownlee.</p><p><br></p><p> He was attending Scott High School, before working with his father in demolition and driving trucks.</p><p><br></p><p> He united with Deborah Miles and began an eventful Journey. In the mist of this journey, came S. Floyd Trucking and Demolition. Throughout the many ups and downs during this journey, Sam always bounced back.</p><p><br></p><p> Sam was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Brownlee and grandmother, Vivia Floyd.</p><p><br></p><p> On Friday, November 22, 2013, God called him to rest.</p><p><br></p><p> He leaves to rejoice in his comical and loving memory Deborah; children, Twana, Thomas "Lil Sam", daughter for the woods, Sheila; mother, Marcella; mother-in-law, Lillie Bell; sisters, Margaret, Diane and Michelle; brothers, Danny (Jan), Wayne, and Deon; grandchildren, Terrance, Hasani and Qui'shia; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> Services are 11:00am Saturday, November 30, 2013 preceded by wake services at 10:00am at The House of Day Funeral Service.</p>

Samuel Earl Floyd, was born February 10, 1955, in Chicago, IL, to Samuel and Marcella Brownlee.


He was attending Scott High School, before working with his father in demolition and driving trucks.


He united with Deborah Miles and began an eventful Journey. In the mist of this journey, came S. Floyd Trucking and Demolition. Throughout the many ups and downs during this journey, Sam always bounced back.


Sam was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Brownlee and grandmother, Vivia Floyd.


On Friday, November 22, 2013, God called him to rest.


He leaves to rejoice in his comical and loving memory Deborah; children, Twana, Thomas "Lil Sam", daughter for the woods, Sheila; mother, Marcella; mother-in-law, Lillie Bell; sisters, Margaret, Diane and Michelle; brothers, Danny (Jan), Wayne, and Deon; grandchildren, Terrance, Hasani and Qui'shia; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.





Services are 11:00am Saturday, November 30, 2013 preceded by wake services at 10:00am at The House of Day Funeral Service.
