Waudean Norwood

<p>Waudean Norwood born April 29, 1929 in Neshoba County, Mississippi, to Brooks and Mamie Daniel, departed her earthly body and took her sweet rest among the Saints of the Most High God on August 9, 2012 in Toledo Ohio at the age of 83. Mother Norwood was a faithful member in good standing with Good New Bible Chapel International under the leadership of her pastor Dr. Blandine Walls. Mother served as Sunday School Superintendent, Missionary Department and one of the praying mother of the church. Mother also volunteered as a Foster Grandparent with the Head Start Program affectionately known as "Granny Norwood" until her health failed. Mother Norwood taught us many things one was being on time, the other if you wasn't talking about Jesus you were not talking. Mother loved to read her bible before her eyesight got bad, sing her song "When I think of the Goodness of Jesus" and break out in her dance. Waudean Norwood was preceded in death by parents Brooks and Mamie Daniels. Sister Lodean Shinauld, Brothers Otha, Redmond and Roy Daniels. Two grandchildren Charmaine Janae Smith and John Andrew Peters. Mother leaves to celebrate her legacy of life daughters Barbara Peters, Chicago, III, Connie (Billy) May, Sons Tommy Anderson and James Norwood all of Toledo, Ohio. Sister Effie Loper, Toledo, Ohio Brookie Randolph of Chicago, Illinois, Walter Hill of Wisconsin, Odessa Wallace, North Chicago, and Brother Willie Daniels of California. 10 grandchildren, 16 great grand and 7 great-great. Many friends, nieces and nephews she loved very much. Special praying friends Mothers Mary Tucker, Ruby Walker and Mavis Bradford and her Good News Bible Chapel Family. Service will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012, at 11:00am, wake starts at 10:00am at House of Day.</p>
