<p>Frank Gregory was born January 8, 1935, to the late Willie and Mary Gregory of Chatham, VA. He departed this life on Friday, July 8, 2011, at his home in Detroit, MI.</p><p><br></p><p> He received an honorable discharge from the Army of the United States, in October 1959. He lived in Toledo, Ohio until 1969, when he moved to Detroit, Michigan.</p><p><br></p><p> Frank retired from the Ford Motor Company, Woodhaven, MI., Stamping Plant, after thirty-five years of service. He enjoyed fashion, sports cars and political debate. He made a habit of sampling cuisine from around the world.</p><p><br></p><p> He was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend to many, he will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved him. Our comfort comes from knowing he is not suffering anymore and that he lived a full and productive life.</p><p><br></p><p> His memories will be cherished by a brother,Linwood Gregory; soster, Bessie Gregory; (Special Niece and Nephews), Shelia Burns, Danny Gregory, Wayne Gregory and James "Jiggs" Gregory, all of Toledo, Ohio and in addition to a host of other relatives and friends.</p><p><br></p><p> Frank was preceded in death by a son, Mark Gregory, sisters, Mary "Chick" Dillion, Joyce Ann Clark, brothers, Holland, Shirley, McKinnley and Rudolph Gregory.</p><p><br></p><p> Special thanks to Pat, Ruth, and McQueen, all of Detroit, MI., for being special friends and for the compassionate care thery provided during Frank's illness.</p><p><br></p><p> Memorial services are 6:00pm Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at The House of Day Funeral Home.</p>

He received an honorable discharge from the Army of the United States, in October 1959. He lived in Toledo, Ohio until 1969, when he moved to Detroit, Michigan.
