<p>MOORE Venita "Darlene" 3/12/1955 - 3/2/2011 Venita Moore (Mann) also known as Darlene Moore, 55, departed this life at University of Toledo Medical Center on March 2, 2011. She was born to the union of William and Helen Mann on March 12, 1955. She was preceded in death by both parents and two brothers, Williams Jr. and Duane Mann. Darlene graduated from Bowsher High School in 1972 a year early, then she went to the University of Toledo where she received her Bachelor degree of Art in 1977, then Darlene received her Master degree of Education in 1998 and she received her Ph.D of Education in 2006. Darlene worked for Toledo Mental Health Center until 1992. Darlene also worked for the Toledo Public Schools as a teacher where she taught GED from which she retired in 2010. Her religious affiliations would take hold at Cornerstone Church in which she worked as a greeter; she also was a student of the Global Ministry. Darlene was especially known for her sense of humor, her love for family and her love for gospel music. She also had a great love for animals, especially her Pomapoo Mambi and Pomeranian Chester. She'll be greatly missed by her family and friends She leaves precious memories to her daughter, Brittany Moore; sister, Lillie Cavanaugh; and two brothers, Michael Mann and Anthony "Pete" (Brenda) Mann, all of Toledo, Ohio and special friend, John Moore. She also leaves a host of relatives and friends, along with her canine friends, Mambi and Chester. Visitation will be Monday, March 7th, 7 to 9 p.m. at the House of Day Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 8, at 11 a.m. at Cornerstone Church, 1520 Reynolds Rd., Maumee, OH 43537. Interment will be at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> Services are 11:00am Tuesday, March 8,2011 at Cornerstone Church, Maumee, Ohio, wake services will be 7:00pm to 9:00pm Monday at The House of Day Chapel.</p>
