TaMIKA CAMILLE MARTIN heard God’s final calling on April 28, 2010. Born in Toledo, Ohio on May 8, 1977, TaMIKA was a lifetime member of First Church of God. TaMIKA will be remembered fondly for her love and dedication to youth and young adults. She touched the lives of the youth in a special way, leaving them with a feeling of love and belonging. She was also well known for her infectious smile, big heart and warm personality. TaMIKA was a spiritual person; a mighty prayer warrior who interceded on behalf of many.

TaMIKA graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 1995, and began her collegiate studies at the University of Pittsburgh. She was employed with National City Bank as a Branch Consumer Banking Consultant. In her spare time, she enjoyed event planning, collecting toy Elmo’s, as well as attending the National Inspirational Youth Conventions. She was a fun-loving person who knew how to relax and enjoy life.

TaMIKA was preceded in death by grandparents Archie and Mary Jane Martin, Sylvester Sr. and Eloise Gould, and James and Lola Youngblood.

TaMIKA is survived by her parents: Nancy Martin, mommy; Sylvester M. Gould Jr., dad; and Ricardo Youngblood, father; siblings Jason Gould, Tara Gould, Kema Ayers, Derrick (Jovonna) Ayers, Ericka (Michael) Thompson, Robert Gould, and Mayla Ayers. She is survived by one nephew, Anthony “Poppi” Ayers; and one niece, Zakiya Ayers. TaMIKA is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Reverend Sharon Taylor-Reid, Sandra Drake, Debra (Arnold) Mitchell, Larry McKinney, Rodney Martin, Beverly Martin, Patricia (Joe) Lawson, Betty Taylor, Cynthia (Roland) Gibbs, Reverend Chester Jr. (Sally) Taylor, Ronnie (Paula) Taylor, Donzetta Watson, Marvin Anthony Youngblood, Lillian Hackney and Alfred (Rochelle) Gould. Special cousins include Charles Hollingsworth III, Fredrick Reid III, and Teressa Drake. TaMIKA adored her six godchildren: Tyler Thomas, Jojuan Thomas, Jamie Redmond, Jalen Brown, Monet Elliott, and Orlando Wadsworth. She leaves to cherish her memory godmother Lavon Williams, god-sister Tiffany Williams, and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.

Visitation 4-6:00p.m. Friday, May 7, 2010 at The House Of Day Chapel. Wake 10:00 a.m. followed by Funeral at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010 at First Church Of God, 3016 Collingwood Blvd. Rev. Dr. Robert A. Culp, Officiating. Burial Woodlawn Cemetery
