<p>On April 17, 2010, Ruth B. Gooden, devoted wife of the late John Gooden Sr.; beloved mother of Ardythe E. Warren, Xavier L., John H., Jr., and Leo M. Gooden, passed away. Also survived by five grandchildren, Noi T. Reid, Quinton M. Gooden, John H. Gooden III, Malcolm X. Gooden, Leo M. Gooden Jr.; four great-grandchildren, two aunts, Katie Brown and Barbara Thomas; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.</p><p><br></p><p> Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on April 26, 2010, preceded by the wake at 10 am, at FRIENDSHIP BAPTIST CHURCH, 5301 Nebraska Ave., Toledo, OH 43615.</p>April 17, 201004/17/2010
