Christine G. Darrington
<p>Christine G. Darrington passed away December 13, 2009 in Flower Hospital at the age of 85. </p><p><br></p><p> She retired from the Toledo Board of Education after working there over 25 years. She was a life long member of St. Paul A.M.E. Zion Church, where she sang in the choir, was a Class Leader, active in the Missionary Society and also worked on the Stewardess Board.</p><p><br></p><p> She was preceded in death by her husband; James; children, Cassell, Sam, Theresa and Michael (Tracey).</p><p><br></p><p> Christine is survived by children; Ellis (Dorothy) Curry, Lawrence (Lisa) Darrington, and Mertes Darrington. Amongst 15 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p> Services are 12:00 noon Friday, December 18, 2009 , preceded by wake services starting at 11:00am at St. Paul A.M.E.
