JORDAN Ardell Ardell was born on June 16, 1926, in Halls, Tennessee, to Bud and Julie Jordan. He married Lula Mae Campbell and to that union were blessed with nine children. Ardell worked for the railroad for many years. He departed this life on September 15, 2009. He leaves to cherish his memory, Hattie Snow, Lula Jordan; daughter and caregiver, Laverne (Pastor Willie) Knighten Sr., Shirley Walker, Collette Jordan; sons, Robert Jr. (Phyllis), Bobby, Kenneth (Darlene) Laray (Connie) and Stevie Jordan; brother, Wardell Jordan; sister, Mollie Jordan, and a host of other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the Hospice and Foundation Park Care Center staffs for their exceptional care throughout Ardell's stay. Wake services are 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2009 with the funeral service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. at The House of Day Funeral Home. Rev. Willie L. Knighten, Sr., officiating.
