<p>Geary W. Stalnaker, age 74, of Orrville, died Monday, November 21, 2022, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, following a period of declining health.</p><p><br></p><p>Geary was born on April 4, 1948, in Charleston, West Virginia, to the late Deward and Pauline (Moore) Stalnaker and married Sujitra "Sue" Sombuttaveekoon on November 24, 1970.</p><p><br></p><p>He graduated from Clay County High School, and served as a Specialist and Engineer in the United States Army during Vietnam War. Geary worked for Orrville Products for over 30 years.</p><p><br></p><p>Geary was a Commander for the Orrville VFW Post 3446 and was a member of the Orrville American Legion Post 282. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and the company of his friends. &nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his wife, Sue, surviving are five brothers, Gerald Simmons, Evan, Charles, Andrew, and Stephen Stalnaker; brother-in-law, Song; and numerous nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, David Stalnaker.</p><p><br></p><p>Cremation will take place and a private family burial will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br> </p>

Geary W. Stalnaker, age 74, of Orrville, died Monday, November 21, 2022, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, following a period of declining health.


Geary was born on April 4, 1948, in Charleston, West Virginia, to the late Deward and Pauline (Moore) Stalnaker and married Sujitra "Sue" Sombuttaveekoon on November 24, 1970.


He graduated from Clay County High School, and served as a Specialist and Engineer in the United States Army during Vietnam War. Geary worked for Orrville Products for over 30 years.
