Geary W. Stalnaker
<p>Geary W. Stalnaker, age 74, of Orrville, died Monday, November 21, 2022, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, following a period of declining health.</p><p><br></p><p>Geary was born on April 4, 1948, in Charleston, West Virginia, to the late Deward and Pauline (Moore) Stalnaker and married Sujitra "Sue" Sombuttaveekoon on November 24, 1970.</p><p><br></p><p>He graduated from Clay County High School, and served as a Specialist and Engineer in the United States Army during Vietnam War. Geary worked for Orrville Products for over 30 years.</p><p><br></p><p>Geary was a Commander for the Orrville VFW Post 3446 and was a member of the Orrville American Legion Post 282. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and the company of his friends. </p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his wife, Sue, surviving are five brothers, Gerald Simmons, Evan, Charles, Andrew, and Stephen Stalnaker; brother-in-law, Song; and numerous nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, David Stalnaker.</p><p><br></p><p>Cremation will take place and a private family burial will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br> </p>Obituary
