Garlan O. Scott "Bubba", age 52, born May 30, 1957, passed away July 4, 2009, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Odis and Ruby Scott.


He established his relationship with Christ at a young age. He attended Schott High School and was employed with Gumpp Cadillac, Red Roof Inn and the Inverness Club. He loved being with his only grandson, his hats and especially his old Cadillac. He was a caring father, brother, uncle, and friend.


He leaves to cherish his memories; sons, Garlan, Jr.,and Alex; grandson, Alexavier; sisters, Melinda Scott, Odette (Steve) Bennett, Stephanie (Myron) Stewart and Verna Palmer of Greensboro, AL; brother,Yarnell McCullum of Jersey City, NJ,; nephews, Tremain, Anthony, Jamall, and Odis Scott, Toledo, OH; nieces, Brittney and Angel; aunts, Delores Tripplet of Omaha, NE, Mary (Tevel) Walker, Katherine McCullum of Davenport, IA; Helen Nolan of Fort Wayne, IN, and Louise Scott of Toledo, OH; uncles, James McCullum, Leroy Scott both of Toledo, OH, and Samuel McCullum of Kansas City, MO; godmother, Leona Simmons; special friends, Trina, Heather, Brianna and loving ex-wife Michelle; best friends, Robert Billings and Earnest Reed; and a host of many loving relatives and friends.
