Gwendolyn Jean Cleveland

Gwendolyn Jean Cleveland was born on November 5, 1941, to George and Ruth Robinson in Toledo, OHio. She departed this life on Friday, May 29, 2009.

When Gwen was a young girl, she always cared for people. So when she graduated from Libbey High Scholl and she went straight to Mercy School of Nursing to become an LPN. She worked for over 47 years in a profession that she truly loved. Gwen worked at various hospitals and nursing homes in the Toledo area.

She always helped people in need and was affectionately known as "Mrs. C." She had a love for everyone who needed a mother to care for them. Gwen loved and cherished her sons and family!

Gwendolyn made her celestial departure at home with her family by her side.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Gwenith Ann Cleveland, both her parencts and her brother, Leo Perry.

Gwendolyn leaves to cherish her memory, sons, DeWayne E. (Theresa) Cleveland, Sr., Thomas L. (Rhonda)Cleveland, Jr., Sherron Cleveland, Sr., Michael Doles-Bey and Alvin (Margo) Moore, all of Toledo; brother, Herman Perry of Toledo; 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Doris Perry, Dorothy Cleveland, Virginia Pettaway and Geraldine Perry; brother-in-law, Johnny W. Cleveland, Sr.; special cousins, Vic Doyle and Mary Robinson and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Gwen's spirit will remain in the hearts of everyone she touched!
