<p>Ronald Allen Burns was born on November 29, 1948 to Billy and Marjorie Burns in Ft. Sheridan, Illinois.&nbsp;Ron passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of November 4, 2022 in Gresham, Oregon.&nbsp; </p><p>He is survived by three brothers and two younger sisters: Billy Eugene Burns Jr. and family, Terrance Lee Burns and family, Gary Edwin Burns and family, Carolyn Sue Bourland and family, and Marjorie Colleen Mpyisi and family.&nbsp;Ron was preceded in death by his parents and sister Cynthia Lou Bradner.&nbsp; </p><p>Ron graduated from Newberg High School and Fresno College. He worked in food service and retail sales much of his life, all over the country. Ron loved baseball and followed the St. Louis Cardinals from an early age. He loved to travel, especially to Florida. He enjoyed riding the rails to visit extended family in Wisconsin and Illinois.&nbsp; </p><p>Ron was a hard worker, most recognized as a loyal son to his parents. He was a kind and caring brother. Ron was also&nbsp;known as quite the jokester amongst his 15 nieces and nephews plus 17 grand nieces and nephews. Ron was a loving friend and a humble, sweet, and gentle soul.&nbsp; </p><p>A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Please feel free to reach out to any family member. </p>

Ronald Allen Burns was born on November 29, 1948 to Billy and Marjorie Burns in Ft. Sheridan, Illinois. Ron passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of November 4, 2022 in Gresham, Oregon.
