<p>Joan Kazlouskas, age 70, passed away on November 21, 2022, at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. Joan was born and raised in Elizabeth and resided in Tewksbury, NJ, for several years before moving to Westfield one year ago.</p><p><br></p><p>Joan was a sales representative for Macy’s in Woodbridge, NJ. She also was instrumental in taking care of her parents for many years.</p><p><br></p><p>She was always an animal lover and loved taking care of her dog, Jethro. She rescued Jethro, and he gave her incredible joy and love in return. She will always be remembered for her love of reading, cooking, and shopping. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family, especially her nephew and grandnephews. Joan was a caring and generous soul who will be missed by those who knew and loved her.</p><p><br></p><p>Joan is survived by her sister, Antoinette Brescher, and her husband John, and also by her sister, Helen Luecke, her nephews and nieces, and her grandnephews and grandnieces.</p><p><br></p><p>A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Gertrude's Cemetery, 53 Inman Avenue, Colonia, NJ.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center, ATTN: Development Department, P.O. Box 159, Madison, NJ 07940.</p>

Obituary

Joan Kazlouskas, age 70, passed away on November 21, 2022, at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. Joan was born and raised in Elizabeth and resided in Tewksbury, NJ, for several years before moving to Westfield one year ago.


Joan was a sales representative for Macy’s in Woodbridge, NJ. She also was instrumental in taking care of her parents for many years.
