<p>Alfred Rodgers, age 75, passed away on November 14, 2022.&nbsp; </p><p>Alfred was born in Brooklyn, New York to Bertha and Alfred Rodgers.&nbsp; </p><p>He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ronald and sister Claudia. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Peggy), children Dennis Rodgers and his husband Robert,&nbsp;Margaret (Margie) Rodgers and her husband Bryce, grandchild Emily and brother Jeffrey Rodgers.&nbsp; </p><p>Alfred received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Brooklyn College and was a Certified Public Accountant. He worked as a director in REA-RUS for the Department of Agriculture. After retiring he was a member of NARFE. Prior to that, he had served in the United States Navy with several commendations.&nbsp; </p><p>Al was a generous, friendly man who treated everyone with kindness and respect. He had a good sense of humor and was a good listener. He loved his family and encouraged his children in everything they pursued. Throughout his life he enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the cinema and restaurants, reading books, especially about history, playing golf and riding his bike with his wife. </p><p>A service in his honor will be held at Horan and McConaty Family on January 21, 2023 at One O'clock in the afternoon.&nbsp; </p>

Obituary

Alfred Rodgers, age 75, passed away on November 14, 2022. 

Alfred was born in Brooklyn, New York to Bertha and Alfred Rodgers. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ronald and sister Claudia. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Peggy), children Dennis Rodgers and his husband Robert, Margaret (Margie) Rodgers and her husband Bryce, grandchild Emily and brother Jeffrey Rodgers.
