Barbara A. Brown, 67, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on May 23, 2008. She attended Scott High School and furthered her education at the University of Toledo in the field of business education. She worked at the Safety Building as secretary, and later worked at Medical College of Ohio. She was preceded in death by parents, Louise and George Gaines and brother, Lonnie Gaines. She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Gene; daughter, Alena; son, Prentice; sister, Debra of New York City, New York and a host of grandchildren and friends. Services will be held at the House of Day Funeral Service on May 30, 2008 at 3:00 p.m.
