Mary E. (Yost) Weaver, age 91, of Spring Grove, passed away on November 21, 2022 at UPMC Hanover. She was the loving wife of the late Richard L. Weaver who passed away in 2015; together they shared over 66 years of marriage.

Mary was born in Hanover on December 1, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Lloyd D. Yost, Sr. and Elsie (Stultz) Yost. She graduated from Eichelberger High School Class of 1948 and worked in the cafeteria at Spring Grove Area High School and as a bank teller at Spring Grove National Bank for many years prior to retiring. Mary also served as treasurer for the Ladies Auxiliary of Friendship Hose Company #1 in Spring Grove, was a member of the Democratic Club, and a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Spring Grove.

Mary is survived by her children Timothy R. Weaver and wife Sharon of Mohnton, PA, and Cynthia E. Weaver of Spring Grove; her grandchildren Christopher, Angela, Benjamin, Adam, and Megan; step-grandchildren Rebecca, Katie, Amy, Howard, Lisa, and Paula; great-grandchildren Jacob, Ellie, Willa, Cyrus, Nathan, and Sophie; and step-great-grandchildren Carrie, Matthew, Logan, Gavin, and Natalie. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Norma Yost of Hanover. Mary was preceded in death by her son Steven R. Weaver; and her brother Lloyd Yost, Jr.

A Funeral Service in celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 10:00AM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove with Pastor Alison Kurland officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest next to her husband at Rest Haven Cemetery in Hanover. A viewing will be held from 9:00AM – 10:00AM on Monday at the funeral home.
