<p>Gerald Glynn Hix was born March 4, 1962, in Jackson County, TN, and he passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at his residence in Cookeville, TN, at the age of 60.</p><p><br></p><p>He was the son of the late Elmer Lee Hix and Doris Estelene Harris Hix. On July 17, 1999, he was married to Dessa Hix, his wife of more than 20 years. He was a master carpenter by trade and specialized in cabinetry.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include Dessa Hix of Cookeville, TN; Son: Elijah Glynn Hix of Cookeville, TN; Daughter: Camille Grace Hix of Cookeville, TN; and Sisters: Debbie Dixon of Gainesboro, TN, and Shelia Moss of Whitleyville, TN.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 P.M. – 7 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. A celebration of life followed by reception and visitation with family will be held on Wednesday at 4 P.M. at St. Michael's Episcopal Church located at 640 N. Washington Ave. Cookeville, TN, 38501. He will be buried in John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in Gainesboro, TN.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial donations may be made to Grand Canyon Conservancy P.O.
