COEYMANS HOLLOW – Rose Marie Williams, 77, passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital after a long battle with cancer on November 21, 2022 with her devoted son by her side. Rose was the daughter of the late Emery P. and Idella E. Legg (Sickles).

                Rose was a graduate of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School and a retiree of Friendly Home Parties. Nothing gave her more joy in this world than to spend time with her beloved son and family.

                Rose was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Herbert Williams, Jr. and her sisters, Judith A. Jordan and Linda J. Weidman.

Survivors include son, Herbert Williams III (Jill) of Greenville; her sisters, Edna (Ralph)Rominger and Barbara (Rick) Bullock all of Hannacroix; grandchildren, Nicholas Williams (Tommey), DJ Huffman (Shelby Gill), Shane and Riley Hempstead; and also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.

               Friends may call at the Babcock Funeral Home on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 3 to 6 PM to celebrate the lives of Rose and her late husband Herbert.
