John P. Rozinsky Sr.

Age 83 passed away Friday November 18, 2022, at Lightways Hospice Home in Joliet, a resident of the Carillon Lakes Community of Crest Hill, formerly of Westchester. John was the Assistant Controller for Borg Warner in Chicago; he retired in 1984 after 20 years of service. He was a past President and board member of the University of Illinois Commerce Alumni Association, past board member of the Illinois CPA Society, and he was also a lifelong Chicago White Sox fan. He is survived by his loving wife Diane Rozinsky; sons John (fiancée Nina Malina) Rozinsky Jr., and James (Maegan) Rozinsky; brother Eugene Rozinsky; grandchildren Jackson, Helena, and Turner Rozinsky, also a niece Karen (Andrew) Brudniak. Preceded in death by his parents Paul and Helen Rozinsky. Visitation Friday November 25, 2022, from 10 am until the time of service 12 pm at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W. Renwick Rd., Plainfield, IL 60544. Services conclude at the funeral home, cremation rites to be accorded. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Les Turner ALS Foundation (lesturnerals.org) appreciated.
