Mrs. Judy Lynn Melton Mixon, 58, passed away Sunday (November 20, 2022) at Memorial Health in Savannah, GA following a short illness.

She was born in Brantley County to the late Emery Melton and Irma Jean Melton. She worked at Harvey’s, Walmart, and other various jobs through the years but most recently a waitress at Pop-bellies in Waycross.

She is survived by a son, Eric Mixon of Waycross; a daughter, Erin Mixon of Waycross; two grandsons, Noah Clark and Matthew Mixon; four sisters, Suzanne Schery of Nahunta, Cynthia Melton of Nahunta, Melinda Burkhart of Waynesville, and Molly Rowland of Waycross; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
