Margaret G. Phillippi

Margaret G. Phillippi, Neenah, passed away peacefully November 15, 2012, at her home. Margaret was born August 18, 1933, in Appleton, daughter of Adam and Anna (Schroeder) Liethen. Margie attended Saint Mary High School. She was united in marriage on August 6, 1955, to Robert O. Phillippi, D.D.S., and he preceded her in death on June 8, 1975. Margaret was a long time member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah. She was very proud of the time spent over the years, volunteering at St. Margaret Mary School and also Theda Clark Hospital. Margaret will be lovingly remembered for her giving and generous nature. Margie is survived by her children, Ann (Kristian Collins) Phillippi, Colorado, and Mark (Kim) Phillippi, Minnesota; a granddaughter, Katherine Phillippi; siblings: Elsie Hurst and Peter (Karen) Liethen, both of Appleton; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, a sister: Roseann Liethen, and a brother-in-law: Phillip Hurst. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division St., Neenah, with Fr. Michael Ingold officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Visitation will be at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday, and at the church Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Margaret's name.
