Ann Ellis, 80, Neenah, died Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at Prairie Homes Elder Services, Menasha. She was born February 2, 1930, in Iron Mountain, Michigan, daughter of the late Joseph and Albina (Salina) Melelli. Ann married John Ellis July 22, 1950, in Iron Mountain. She was employed by the City of Neenah in the Treasurer's Department and later in the Parks and Recreation Department. Ann was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah. Ann is survived by her husband, John; a daughter, Mary Ann Ellis, Neenah; a daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Ellis, California; a granddaughter, Tianna Ellis, Neenah; a brother-in-law, Robert Haddock, Neenah; 2 sisters-in-law, Darlene Hanson, Menasha, and Marcie (Paul) De Bruin, Greenville. Ann was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Joseph John; a brother-in-law, Roy Hanson; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Haddock; father- and mother-in-law, Victor and Leona Charrier. A prayer service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 27, 2010, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger Street, Neenah, with Fr. Richard Allen officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church from 1:30 P.M. Monday until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established. Ann's family would like to thank the staffs of Prairie Homes Elder Services and Heartland Hospice for their loving care and compassion.
