Carolyn G. Purdie, age 72, of Neenah, WI, died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at her home. At Carolyn's request, no funeral service will be held. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Dell Lutheran Cemetery in Frost, MN, with Pastor Joe Ocker. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is assisting the family. Carolyn G. Purdie was born in Winnebago, Minnesota, the only daughter of Harold W. 'Bud' and Hazel (Chilson) Purdie. Carolyn graduated from Delavan High school and Mankato State University with her Teacher's license. Carolyn started and ended her teaching career in Neenah, WI, after more than 30 years in the same district. Carolyn was a huge Green Bay Packers fan. She is preceded in death by her parents. Carolyn is survived by several cousins and many close friends. Local arrangements being entrusted to Kessler Funeral Home.
